Charges
As advertised on our website. To be charged by the day including the day of arrival and the day of departure, unless the dog is collected between 9-9.30am. We cannot reduce the price if you collect your dog earlier than your booked collection date and time. All charges are payable prior to collection by bank transfer. A non-refundable 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your booking. No veterinary costs or insurance are included.
Vaccinations
All dogs accepted for boarding must be accompanied by a current vaccination certificate. No dog will be accepted by the kennels without the certificate being examined. No dog will be accepted in to the kennels if they appear to be suffering from an infectious illness. Vaccination for kennel cough is not compulsory but is recommended and must be administered at least 2 (two) weeks before boarding commences, if less than 2 (two) weeks we will not board your dog as they can be contagious to other dogs.
Veterinary fees
Any veterinary fees occurred whilst the dog is at the kennels are to be paid for on collection.
Personal belongings
All personal belongings left on the premises are left entirely at the client’s risk. All collars are removed from the dogs on arrival.
Collection
If you fail to collect your dog(s) within fourteen days of the due date of departure, you give the owner of the premises the authority to re-home or dispose of the dog(s) without further reference provided that you have not made arrangements in writing for the boarding period to be extended.
Every care will be given to the welfare and safety of all dogs boarded. Tawnyhill Boarding Kennels will not be held responsible for any illness, injury, loss or damage to the dog(s) however caused during their stay. Pets are boarded entirely at the client’s risk.
We reserve the right to refuse any dog that we consider to be of an unreliable temperament, or sick at the start of boarding. We no longer board XL Bully type dogs as published in the Department of Food and Rural Affairs guidance note.
You consent that whenever necessary you agree to your dog being examined and treated by a veterinarian.
